If you are looking for timber windows for your property in Liverpool or the North West, look no further than Preferred Joinery. We are experts in creating bespoke timber windows and are the number one choice for sash windows for period properties in Liverpool. Our in-depth knowledge and experience allow us to create bespoke timber windows designed to your specifications that seamlessly blend into the character of your property.
Our timber windows can be manufactured to take both single and double-glazing. Our handcrafted timber windows comply with local council, national park and planning restrictions for listed buildings. We have fitted many of our bespoke, handmade, timber windows in listed buildings and period properties, and we are confident that our quality and attention to detail will satisfy even
the most demanding eye.
Many of the properties we work on sit within conservation areas or are listed buildings, particularly in the Georgian Quarter, Sefton Park and Cressington Park, where original sash window profiles need to be matched precisely. Our team are experienced in working alongside local conservation officers and planning departments to ensure every replacement window meets the required standards while preserving the character of the property.
Traditional vertical sliding windows, handcrafted in our Liverpool workshop.
Perfect for period homes, listed buildings or anyone after a timeless look.
What we offer:
A clean, classic look where the sash sits flush within the frame. Popular for
heritage homes, cottages, and period properties.
What we offer:
A more modern take on timber casements, designed with a slight lip where
the sash overlaps the frame — great for added weather protection.
